Formalize it in court as quickly as possible.  It will only be a short 
time before she starts to want to reverse the decision.  You can be as 
lenient on the child support as you want, and get more later if you need 
it (you will).  The important thing is that until you have a court decree 
assigning you custody, you DON'T have legal primary custody!  This is a 
good time, with the two kids being killed by their mother.  The judge may 
be VERY responsive, especially this week.
