I think that's the best reason for using internet personals. It's easier
to get information back and forth in reasonable time frames. You don't
have to play phone tag on 1-900 numbers, you don't have to wait for the
weekend "event", and you can actually get to know something about a person
before you meet them. The only thing better is being introduced by a
trusted friend.

I'm a computer engineer (don't look the type :-).
Does anybody actually look like the stereotype librarian.

You mean that little town the size of New Jersey :-).
I've been their a couple of times. I got lost once, late at night. I
ended up going all the way around the island, the LONG WAY. My first
time in Manhatten, I got of the George Washington bridge and turned
left. This happened to be the week of the Rodney King riots, not the
best place to be in an RX-7. I stopped at one of the SWAT trucks and
asked an officer for directions. He figured I was either lost or too
stupid to live :-). What I have seen, especially in the daytime is quite
beautiful.

It sounds like you're very proud of your daughter. I assume she takes
after her mother (being cute :-). At least you don't have a saint
bernard who thinks she's a puppy (bad news when they try to sit in your
lap). I don't have any pets of my own.

I've told you all the easy stuff. What would you like to know? I have
many facets. Is there something you were curious about. Is there
something you would like me to know about you?
Most of the week, I am a project manager in a three piece suit. Strange
as it may sound, I actually am comfortable in the coat and tie.
I like to go dancing, usually at a 12 step club (no alcohol or drugs),
and get a work-out. It's more fun than aerobics, and I have more
latitude in dress.
I volunteer 2 nights a week for Landmark Education, one night I'm in a
seminar, I'm finishing a course called Excellence. The other night I
keep records for a course called Commitment, the Power of your word.
That was almost as much fun as the course on Integrety.
About 3 nights a week, I work with drug addicts and young alcoholics to
help them recover from their disease. I've been sober 14 years.
Sometimes I speak at meetings, other times I just share one on one after
the meetings. For some reason, they listen when they find out that I was
where they were and quit when I was only 21.
Once a month, I give platelets at the blood center in New Brunswick. I
just gave this weekend. It's one of the fringe benefits of clean living.
On the other hand, I'm not TOO nice either. I used to have a KZ-1300
bike until I got a dose of sanity. I did keep the leather jacket. I'm
the kind of guy who drives fast cars slow. I traded in my RX-7 for a
something more practical. I always needed more than two seats, or I
drove alone.
I'm not your typical man either. Many people think I'm gay because I am
so even tempered, patient, and gentle. It might also have something to
do with my wardrobe too.
Let me know more about what you want to know.
