As far as I can tell, this is not true. I downloaded CompuServe's WWW
package last week, and have used it several times since. It has had no effect
on other browsers loaded on my hard drive, and I have several because of what
I do for a living (Netscape, Mosaic, Cello, etc...).

What I have noticed, however, is that if you launch any browser, whether
it's CompuServe's or not, without first establishing your SLIP/PPP
connection, CompuServe's automatic dialer kicks in and links you to the Web
through CompuServe.
