You can make this someone else's problem and make money to boot. 

Cut a deal with IAC and hand them the back copies. They'll ship them out to
their keyboardists in the third world and in a few months you'll have your
archive. They'll have your archive, too, of course, but the cross-market
competition should be minor here, since you're selling "50 Years' Worth of
the AM" and they're selling "200 Years' Worth of General Interest Magazines."

One of the keys to success in online publishing is to abandon the idea of
exclusivity in packaging. So long as you're getting a decent piece of the
action, you should put your content out in as many products as possible.
