Dear Sherri, Rex, and Tom,
It was a pleasure to speak with the three of you on the telephone today.
Thank you for all of your input. I wanted to respond to your questions
regarding real-time feed handling and usage reporting.
First, we currently manage all feeds with batch processing. We anticipate
an upgrade to our software in August at which time we will be able to
support real-time feeds. In the interim, we could support an hourly
indexing model, whereby the latency would range up to a maximum of one
hour. Then in August we would move to a real-time model. What are your
thoughts on this?
Below is a sample a raw statistics report. As you will see, this contains
information down to the document level which is stored in the "DataID"
field. The DataID field is a value which you may define. You will just need
to indicate which information in your source data we should parse to
populate the DataID value, and so that it has meaning to you. We could
generate these reports for you on a monthly basis.
