Hi Internet Task Force,

I recently acquired a Web authoring tool that works on top of Word For 
Windows to create and edit web pages.  It's called WebAuthor from 
Quarterdeck Office Systems and it works very well and is easy to use 
and requires no knowledge of HTML.  You can also read in existing HTML 
files captured from the network with your browser and edit them.  
Although it currently will not convert a Word for Windows .DOC file 
directly to an HTML file, that capability is supposed to be available 
sometime this summer.  In the meantime you can import a .DOC file into 
a web documented being created.  Using this tool I was able to create a 
simple home page in 15 minutes!  The product is available at Egghead, 
Best Buy, and other places for about $99.

I will also be picking up a copy of Hijaak for Windows which is a 
graphics conversion utility that can convert any graphics format to any 
other.  If anyone has graphics that need to be converted to GIF or JPEG 
for inclusion in a web page let me know or email them as a MIME 
attachment.
