Hi everybody,

It doesn't look like we're going to get together this week.  I'm traveling 
next week and will be out on vacation through the end of the month.  The bad 
news is that assignments and the June 5th deadline remain unchanged.

I will be calling all topic team leaders Friday or Monday to get a status and 
review on how things are progressing.  I hope you have been communicating and 
putting together some thoughts.

I recommend that every body take a look at Ralph's home page 
(http://www.panix.com/~rhockens/surveys.html), He has set up an area where he 
will post correspondence, interesting URLs and the like.  He's done a good 
job.  I'd recommend visiting this site everyday to see if there's something 
new.

One thing we haven't talked about, but need to: we should have a weekly game 
or contest on our web site.  It should be clever and interesting enough that 
surfers would be amused to the point of visiting/participating on a regular 
basis.  To foster our thinking, Jack has authorized me (actually it was his 
idea) to offer a prize to the work group member who comes up with the most 
creative idea.  I don't know what to offer as a prize, but we are thinking 
along the terms of an Apple Newton or something along those lines -- 
suggestions are welcome.  

If we don't talk on Friday, have a good weekend.
