AOL has released a beta multimedia Windows version, 2.5, along with an
*integrated* Web browser. If you're on AOL, use the keyword "AOL preview" to
read about it and download. While I missed some features of other browsers,
it nonetheless is impressive: it seems to respond quickly and has a unique
AOL look to it, not just another generic browser. In addition, version 2.5
integrates sound and video capability into the rest of AOL. Now if they
would just announce a price plan competitive with CompuServe and Prodigy ...
