Lots of other features have been put into the client as well, but other
than the ones mentioned above, the ability to download in the background
is a biggy (I know, all of us SLIP/PPP users take this for granted, but..).
Also, they appear poised to offer "Flash Newsgroups" (the ability to pull
newsgroup messages and read offline).

For those that download the preview, I'd encourage you to go to Keyword:
MM SHOWCASE for some examples of how they've integrated animatation,
sound and video into the client. Once the "wow" effect wears off, you
can still see quite a few practical uses of these features. Still, the
"eye" on the main Multimedia Showcase screen is downright spooky.

As for the browser, they've done some nice integration with services they
offer. As an example, check out Keyword: DELL . That takes you to the
Dell Web browser but the WWW browser changes slightly (the window becomes
slightly smaller) and icons for the Dell Message boards on AOL and the
Dell file libraries (also on AOL) appear.

I'm pretty sure that most of the multimedia features and the browser
integration are only available on the Windows beta client...
